Sæby's landmark, the old idyllic Sæby Watermill, is beautifully located right next to Sæby River and the dam. The charming half-timbered house features two vacation homes: the Mill House and Thora’s House. Both homes are completely unique with their own distinctive style and story.

THE MILL HOUSE
The Mill House is the old workshop in the Watermill. Enjoy the vaulted ceiling and the fabulous view of the dam on Sæby River. Listen to the collection of vinyl records, relax in the alcove, and immerse yourself in over 300 years of industrial history in the impressive mill. The Mill House can accommodate up to 6 guests.
THORA'S HOUSE
Thora’s House is the cozy family home in the Watermill. It features beautiful vintage joinery furniture, a view of the lush garden and river. Relax with a good book and imagine life in the Watermill for several hundred years. Thora’s House can accommodate up to 6 guests.
COME INSIDE THE MILL HOUSE
Møllehuset is the old workshop in Vandmøllen. Here there are high ceilings and a fabulous view over the lock at Sæby Å. IN Møllehuset has room for 6 guests.
GET INSIDE THORA'S HOUSE
Thora's House is the cozy family home in the watermill. Here you find beautiful joinery furniture, a view of the lush garden and the river. In Thora's House there is room for 6 guests.
THE WATERMILL GARDEN
During your stay at Sæby Watermill, you have access to the lush and beautiful private garden that stretches along Sæby River. The garden surrounding the mill is a picturesque landscape adorned with lilacs, rhododendrons, roses, tulips, anemones, lilies, climbing hydrangeas, and lavender, offering a delightful visual experience.
Relax in the wooden Adirondack garden chairs, listen to the sound of the Watermill's dam, and drift back in time when the Watermill was the setting for milling, carriage-making, and wood manufacturing.
Enjoy your coffee in the cozy Orangerie, take a walk by the historic dam, and be impressed by the power of the river in all seasons.
